![]() Images by Kathleen The average witch usually records his or her book of shadows (or grimoire, whatever) which is meant to be a "diary" of all their magickal workings. In order to make their recordings simpler, as well as maintain secrecy symbols were used instead of words in sycopation with non-arabic (non english script) alphabets to represent some of the basic ideas that are common to almost every ritual. These symbols are still used today and are very useful when recording your rituals and spells. Please note: These images were created by one of my closest and oldest friends and she retains the copyright. I allow almost all of the information on the site to be copyed and reposted within copyrights but I will not allow any reposting these images as they are made specifically for my site and are incredibly important to me. I am incredibly grateful to her for donating these lovely images and would like to make sure that the integrity of her collection is maintained. Please respect these wishes Ritual Tools
