Feathers, in magick, have a large amount of uses. They can be attached to wands and staves, worn in one’s hair or on one’s robes/clothes, strewn around a circle or placed on an altar. They can also serve to represent air at the eastern area of your circle or be used in your circle if you are doing a ritual to contact air spirits or a God/dess who is patron of air. Whatever you choose to use them for, please make sure that they are clean, have been humanely gathered, have not been taken from a living animal and were not found on the ground. Feathers should be very easy for you to find in your local craft store or even at your local farm.
White: Purification, spirituality, hope, protection, peace and blessings of the Moon.
Yellow: Intelligence and blessings of the Sun.
Orange: Attraction, energy and success.
Pink: Love.
Blue: Psychic awareness, peace and health.
Green: Money, fertility and growth.
Brown: Health, stability, grounding and matters in the home.
Gray: Peace and neutrality
Black: Not recommended.
Red & Brown: Healing animals.
Brown & White: Happiness.
Gray: Hope and balance
Black & White: Union and protection.
Green & Red: Finances.
Black & Purple: Deep spirituality.
