Pour in enough alcohol to cover the mixture plus 10% more. Seal the jar tightly. When the mixture has reached your desired darkness, dip a sterile toothpick into the liquid, and test it on the type paper you intend to use it with. Let dry, if it is not dark, leave to steep again, repeat until you have the desired result. Back |
